Show-off and Tell

No one likes a show-off do they? I certainly don’t. Especially when it comes to book stuff. Signed book stuff that is.

I always feel happy for the person posting pictures of their signed book stuff and publicly state this on the post they put up whether it be on Facebook, Twitter or their individual blog.

Soon after this (if it’s a book I don’t have) I get out the “reserved” teddy bear, put a picture of said poster of picture on teddy’s face and proceed to punch forty shades of shit out of it. Oops did I confess to something I shouldn’t have?

Anyway……I am trying to build up a collection of signed books either because I love the individual book or the author or group of authors. This isn’t the easiest of things to do because I live in the UK and most authors I like these days (apart from a few exceptions) seem to be in the US so shipping costs put a big dampener on things.

The intention is that when I win the lotto and eventually own my big house with its own library I will be able to fill at least one wall of shelves with signed stuff that brings a big smile to my face. (By the way if someone wants to send me something signed I am never going to refuse but also please note (those that may gasp at my brazenness) I am not out to get freebies. If it comes free then yay but I always offer to buy and look after shipping costs).

So….to that end and bucking the idea of no one likes a show-off (especially me) this is my new Show-off and Tell page dedicated to showing off pictures of all my signed stuff and purposely trying to make you all jealous……let’s face it, that’s the only reason any of us post pictures of signed stuff. Isn’t it?

As I add new pictures of anything I get I will put a post on the main page and share (of course) but will also add a link here. I have quite a few to post so please bear with me.

I hope you enjoy browsing my collection but secretly (or not) I also hope you are green with envy...
